I hope that you can help with the 'feeding pets' issue. A friend sent me a link to your Shaun White segment broadcast today. https://au.tv.yahoo.com/sunrise/video/watch/36099221/what-to-feed-your-pet/#page1 In fact for more than 25 years there's been a massive struggle in the vet profession about how to feed pets. You can find lots of TV and video at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzZmYoLjxA8bFUepVvHmv_A including NZ and Chinese TV. ABC Lateline covered part of the story last year. Channel 7 covered the story at least three times: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFnsEOHS_Os https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7XhE5hOBgI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK5FuCfgZNo But as you can tell, the message is being drowned out by the junk pet-food industry and their spokespersons. Aussie pets and their owners deserve better. I hope you can get back to me about the possibility of getting the record set straight. As you know Channel 7 is well aware of the junk pet food controversy but continues to air false and misleading advertising and it seems, runs false and misleading advertorials. Please let me know what Sunrise, or Channel 7 more generally will do to correct the record. We were conscious not everyone has the budget to be able to afford food from a vet so we needed to be able to provide alternatives. I accept that you have a different view to the vets we featured and spoke to off camera, but we managed that by making sure the message in the story was for pet owners to speak to their vet. Monica.
