Petition containing Bank Retirees / Pensioners issues was taken up with Hon'ble PM/FM on 12.12.2016 by TEAM: Jayaprakash.N, Jayaraman.N, Jayaram .V, HSN Murthy, HS Vasudeva Rao & Vijayalakshmi S Rao. Today, Bank Retirees are suffering & undergoing agony for no fault of them. 1) Accepting Pillai Committee recommendations in place of Pay commission was the first blunder. 2) Relying & reposed super confidence on so called majority Representatives & negotiators, despite continuously being cheated for last more than 40 years is another blunder. 3) IBA, an association of Bank CEOs, a voluntary organisation, an unregistered association, not appointed by Govt., not funded by Govt., but funded by public money from member banks which has no responsibility & accountability with hand in gloves with so called representatives have been allowed to negotiate the Retirees issues is another blunder. 4) Retirees should now understand how blame game is used against each other organisations for failures and abstaning from conciliatory meetings called by CLC/ALC to divert the attention. 5) when Retirees of Central/state govt., Armed Forces, similar undertakings in general & MLAs/ MPs with just one term of office in particular are accorded updation of Pension & other facilities under Budget allocation which is burden on exchequer from public funds, Why Bank Retirees are denied of periodical updation of Pension which is accounted for from their own accumulated & increasing Pension Corpus Fund without a drain on exchequer? 6) Why land mark judgments of Courts in similar cases are being disregarded and litigations are perpetuated for the sake of litigation 7) Are the Bank Retirees are not human beings & citizens of this country? 8) Even in so called Medical Insurance facilities, the Retirees are made to suffer financially budening with high premuim rates. This shows how the people at helm of affairs were mandated to negotiate for the benefit of Retirees. 9) Several petitions by individual Retirees and aggreived parties addressed to Hon'ble PM/FM were filed on line http://pgportal.gov.in/pension seeking intervention of the decision makers, but the same remains unresponded/unredolved. 10) A similar petition was also filed in world plat form www.Change.Org. seeking public support for genuine cause of the Bank Retirees and it is found that out of lakhs of retirees, only just 5050 people have supported the cause and pace is still going on. 11) Appoint independent Pay Commission for Retirees/Pensioners issues. Retirees/Pensioners! despite failing health & irrespective of advanced age, awake and fight injustice meted to them by all concerned and keep the movement on, till the rightful entitlements from their own funds without drain on exchequer is approved without descrimination. After suffering for 40 years, Hope, ateast now under the leadership of our Hon'ble PM Sri.Modiji & Sri. Jaitlyji, the natural justice will be reinstated to Bank Retirees to uphold their self respect & dignity by appointing independent Pay Commission. Bank Retirees/Pensioners, KEEP EFFORTS ON and ON... AND ULTIMATELY, JUSTICE WILL BE ACCORDED by our beloved PM.
