There are many things discussed and passed in the parliament, but nobody seemed to have thought of providing medical assistance to the seniors who have contributed to the development of the country irrespective of the sector they worked in whether government, private or business.

Those worked in the government departments, especially in central govt. departments have unlimited coverage for their medical after their retirement, whereas the others whether businessmen or private sector employees are deprived of this facility, leaving to fend for themselves in their old age. Whereas they have also contributed to the government's revenue by way of income tax etc. the govt. has not done enough for their old age.

 Even the insurance companies also, to my knowledge, provide insurance to the seniors up to a certain age and after that they also have put restrictions.

 In view of the above facts, I would like to file a petition with the Hon'ble Prime Minister's office to look into the possibilities of providing group insurance cover of minimum Rs.10 lakhs to all those above 65years, ascertained by the Aadhar card or Senior citizen card issued to them, irrespective of their wealth status, caste or religion.

The modalities of the scheme can be worked out by the Indian Health Ministry and a bill be passed on this immediately to cover all the Senior Citizen of India above 65 years.

 I believe the people of India will vouch and support by signing this petition.

Together we can make a change to help our respected Senior Citizens of India in their needy years.
