Thank you for signing our petition to Finance Minister Bill Morneau and others asking them to stop proposed tax changes that would have negatively affected all private business owners. You helped us make a difference! The government listened to the concerns of Canadians and has revised its proposed tax reforms and has reduced the small business tax rate. There is still much to be done, but we’re glad to see that, this time, the government seems open to working with the business community. The Finance Minister said he wants to make sure the government gets this right. We do too, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and its member chambers of commerce will provide a voice for SMEs.
