Since starting this petition and becoming involved in supporting Reza, with other friends of his, the Salisbury Journal (who have written a powerful article, see attached) and with the Rt. Hon. John Glen MP (Conservative, Salisbury), Rt. Hon. Stephen Timms MP (Labour, East Ham) and Rt. Hon. John McDonnell MP (Labour, Hayes and Harlington), I have become acutely aware that Reza's situation is not unique, but is part of the wider hidden shame of the United Kingdom deporting ex-child refugees; who were welcomed when politically expedient, but are being deported now they are adults. This wider problem is of concern to the above mentioned MPs and others. So, special thanks to the Rt. Hon. John Glen MP, whose support has helped engage a Solicitor (who met with Reza today) and has also been engaging with the Home Office.
