Thank you so much for signing the #SheroMustStay petition on change.org.

The response to the petition has been fantastic. Getting a large number of signatures on the petition is really important but we need more to make sure that Sherko gets the justice he deserves.

Our campaign has had great local media coverage and has the active support of our Member of Parliament for Chesterfield, the leader of our council, the Mayor and other civic leaders. Demonstrating that Sherko has widespread and deep local support will be very important when challenging the Home Office’s decision to remove his right to remain in this country.

As you will also be able to see from Sherko’s own response below, that the support for the petition has been very important to him.

I would ask you to do a few other things if you would.

1.       Could you please share the link to the petition as widely as possible to all you own friends and contacts and encourage them to sign and share. www.change.org/SherkoMustStay

2.       Have look at the short campaign video that one of our supporters has made. 3.       Sherko has already had to pay out several thousands of pounds in legal fees to challenge this unjust decision. He has no access to legal aid to cover his legal costs. We have set up a Sherko Defence Fund to raise funds to cover his legal costs. Sherko must not be denied justice because he can’t afford legal bills. Please donate generously.
