This is a critical week, with only days left to save Bashir Naderi from removal to Afghanistan, I am writing therefore to ask all 10,000 of you for another massive show of support. On Tuesday, 8th November, we are asking supporters to hold a Stand Up for Bash event. Gather in your workplace, school, college, place of worship, with friends etc in support of our friend Bash. We ask you, his supporters, wherever you are, to come together and dedicate a couple of minutes to this campaign. It doesn't matter where you are or how many of you can take part - we simply ask that you take a moment to stand in support of Bash. Please take photographs and/or a video to send onto us so that we can demonstrate your sense of feeling to the Home Office. We have just created a Facebook Page, named - Stand Up for Bash, please search for and like this page. You can also download a twibbon, from this page, with the caption Stand Up for Bash, as seen in Bash's photograph, and an EVENTS PACK which gives you access to images, resources and backgroud information so that you can share Bash's story with others. Already schools, colleges, councils, friendship groups and the Welsh Government have pledged their support and will be holding a Stand Up for Bash event on Tuesday nex week. The Welsh Government will be holding their Stand Up for Bash on the Senedd steps on Wednesday to demonstrate their support. This campaign has touched so many of you and your messages of support have, in turn, touched Bash and his Welsh family, his only family. In response to your incredible support, Bash messaged to say: "From the bottom of my heart, thank you - I am truly grateful to you all. I cannot believe what you are doing to help me, thank you."
