Valentine’s Day stories

As it’s Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share with you a few more stories of families who should be celebrating together but can’t due to the Home Office’s discriminatory policies.

One of the stories is from someone who came to the UK as a refugee, fleeing from Afghanistan as a child, but now can’t bring his wife to live with him due to the MIR.

Another story may have some familiar faces—it’s a story on this petition, how it was brought to the Home Office on Wednesday, and why we continue to fight:

Finally, the article you see attached to this update was only recently brought to light in the last few days. Aisha is being forced to bring up her 5 month old son alone due to not meeting the MIR. Imagine a father not being able to see the birth of his son and not meeting him in person for five months and counting. It’s unimaginable, yet this is the reality for too many.

Thanks again for all of your support.
