Nabi is in the U.K. - Finally

Dear Supporters,

I wanted to inform you that after 5 years of campaigning and the horrendous manner in which many Afghan translators found themselves on their own when the Taliban took over, Mohammed Nabi Wardak and his family arrived in the UK about 10 weeks ago.

I was there to meet him at the airport to welcome him after 5 years of campaigning to get him and his family to safety in the U.K. i spent many years corresponding with UK Government agencies and finally, we made a breathrough.

Suffice as to say that his family had to get out of Afghanistan by themselves after the Taliban took over, with no assistance from the U.K. Government. Sadly, not surprising.

Thank you all for your support. You all made this happen and I wanted to let you know, that 6 people are a family unit, safe from the Taliban and you did it.
