Hoping that you had a good weekend.

This weekend I found more information from Nabi and we also managed to get the Sun newspaper involved in this campaign. I also have collated detailed information for our campaign to get Nabi and his family accepted into the UK. His story means that successive Governments who let down Afghan interpreters should hang their heads in shame.

Also, with your help and support I have met with Nabi. Yes, in have met with him in person 1,700 miles away and so thank you for ensuring that the campaign continues.

His story shows the appalling treatment that UK Governments have shown to Afghan translators and what I have found is that Nabi was a supervisor to other Afghan field translators and found himself in the heat of battle, having to translate Taliban radio orders to be sent back to British commanders in real time, through Nabi's work. These included commands by Taliban leaders around troop movements, attack points against British and coalition soldiers and insurgent build-up orders. Nabi was translating these in real time in the midst of firefights and saw his colleagues killed and their families murdered for working with the British. More will come out in the Sun article and in further postings.

I have pictures of his situation in Greece for you to look at. Is this how we should have treated people like him - rejected to enter our country, when his actions saved British lives in the midst of battle?
