We did it! I’m so glad to say that, thanks to the huge levels of support for this petition, the government has changed its mind and decided to allow Shirley’s brother to travel to the UK to make a lifesaving donation. The BBC is reporting that Joseph has been issued a visa to allow him to travel “as soon as possible” – meaning that Shirley’s long wait for treatment will hopefully soon be over. There’s no doubt that it wouldn’t have happened without your help. Thank you again for your support – it means a huge amount.
