Stop Road Deaths and HGV’s out of villages along the A338 and in Wiltshire
The Issue
In the last three years there have been FIVE road deaths on A338 between Collingbourne Ducis and Burbage, Wilts. TWO cottages have been collided with by vehicles in that time also.
Every day articulated lorries thunder through our tiny villages, negotiating dog leg corners like Castle Corner, Ludgershall, and Church Street, Collingbourne Ducis.
Speeding is also endemic through these quintessentially chocolate box villages
Most importantly, this week a dear little 7 year old girl Eloise was cruelly taken from us when she was struck by an HGV.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH THIS HAS TO STOP-REROUTE THE HGVS AND SLOW DOWN TO THE SPEED LIMITS NOW TO AVOID ANOTHER TRAGEDY!
