The thing on everyone's mind when they talk about this issue is "what about the minors? Well I'm here to tell you that their stories are full of holes.

Chai and Charlie both released statements, which the internet grasped onto out of sheer shock value. But, what happens when we look at it a bit more objectively?

What happens is the stories fall apart. Chai claims that he told Jared immediately that he was 16 and that he didn't care. Since then however, Chai has deleted his entire statement, and furthermore it has been discovered that during the time this was happening, he had sustained severe head trauma and was hospitalized for 2 years. Symptoms including exhaustion, psychosis, hallucination, short AND long term memory loss. With this in mind its possible he simply remembers the story wrong, mainly the part where he told Jared he was 16.

The thread after that contains Poisoned Wells of information that influence you on how you're supposed to interpret it before you even read it. Which in this case, was to make you think Jared was some kind of pedo monster, but take that context out and the conversations just seem flirty.

For those still wondering you may be thinking "ignorance isn't an excuse"
well that's where you're wrong, it actually is! Federal law states that if you were the recipient of Child Pornography, but you received it under the guise that the person was of age, then you are cleared as long as you delete the photos after being made aware. 

Apparently there was a 3rd minor that was mentioned in passing, but there was no proof provided since then so its safe to assume they don't exist, no pictures, no statements, just nothing.

Jared also dealt with CP in the past, when an individual known as Brenn stated that they and friends posted a bunch of CP on Jared's old "sinjared" blog. when this was brought to attention, he NUKED the entire blog. link here https://imgur.com/a/DoZxYTN

Not only that, Jared has gone on record stating stating that he made his platforms 24+ to "keep the children and liars out". He had a history of making sure that children stayed out, and others have gone on record saying they lied about their age to get in. With this in mind, is it right to condemn someone for a crime they did not even commit? I don't think so.
