Hollaback! and Rob Bliss Creative recently released a video of an actress being repeatedly harassed by catcallers as she went about her business in New York City. Unfortunately, as Hanna Rosin pointed out in her Slate piece: "The Problem with that Catcalling Video: The White Guys Were Edited Out," Hollaback! removed nearly all of the footage of white catcallers. Hollaback!'s very name misappropriates minority speech to associate it with street harassment. Can we really trust their version of the truth?

We ask that Hollaback! and Rob Bliss release ALL the footage, so that Ms. Rosin can either re-edit the video herself, or appoint a commission to perform the editing according to her standards. As Hanna Rosin has tweeted, We're not asking for a quota. We just want the video to reflect what we already know.
