WOW! Thank you so much for the support of CATA students and staff. In less than 24 hours, 1700 people signed and shared regarding this issue.

Today, CATA Staff will have a faculty meeting regarding neutrality and the use of pronouns in their email signatures, among other topics. We will post an update here after that happens.

One thing to point out is that this is not coming from CATA leadership. This is a school board member seeing a parent complaint online and UCPS central office leadership. In an email to staff, the principal is quoted saying "I will speak to you more about this tomorrow when we have our staff meetings, as I am still trying to process all if this myself."
