Wanted to thank those of you that have signed my petition. There have been several updates in regards to this petition. I have been asked multiple times by people that work at Beggars in Whiting to take this down. I have been threatened with being sued for libel and for defamation of character. After seeking legal advice from Fish, Potter, Bolanos P.C. I had made several adjustments to where it's no longer considered defaming in anyway. I was told that it's my 1st amendment right to say what I feel is wrong with the situation at hand. They can threaten me but it will not stop me. This law office is also currently dealing with one of the owners cases against him. All photos have been given to the attorney. On top of the incident that had occurred in July of 2022. One of my petition signers has also reached out to the Better Business Beaurau and the Lake County Health Dept. Waiting to hear if there will be a response to that. I want to thank every person that has signed and supported me and this cause. I ask you all to continue sharing this petition. Share it as much as you can on all Whiting based community pages. The voice of public opinion is strong and you all have made this reach the point that its currently at. Thank you signers keep sharing.
