I’ve never really had much of a purpose before this.

✅ A full certification program to spotlight ethical platforms (the documentation is ready — we just need to finish the webpage!)

✅ What Is the Certification Program?
We’re building a People Over Platforms Certification Program — a first-of-its-kind initiative to highlight platforms that do it right.
Certified platforms will need to meet standards like:
• Transparent appeals processes
• No AI-only enforcement
• Fair content moderation
• Publicly accessible policies
• Respect for privacy, mental health, and free expression
Approved platforms will be listed in a public directory on our website and given a certification badge to proudly display. It’s a way to reward accountability — and give users a clear signal about which platforms actually care.
We’re aiming to shift the power back into people’s hands.
