We are now just 10 signatures away from reaching the threshold required to get this petition in front of the Senedd! This is a critical milestone that will force our elected representatives to address the ongoing issues with healthcare provision at Morlais Health.

The situation continues to deteriorate
Unfortunately, since we started this petition, the situation at Morlais Health has not improved. In fact, recent reviews and patient feedback show that service quality continues to decline:

Patient satisfaction ratings have dropped further in recent weeks
More community members are reporting difficulties accessing basic care
Medication management issues continue to affect vulnerable patients
Appointment availability remains severely limited
Communication problems persist with no improvement in sight

Alarming new development: We've recently learned that one of the main partners at Morlais Health chaired a meeting advocating for capping patient contacts per day.

 This is absolutely outrageous considering patients are already struggling to secure appointments! Instead of working to improve access to care, practice leadership appears to be actively seeking ways to further restrict services to our community. This demonstrates a fundamental disconnect between the practice's priorities and the urgent healthcare needs of Merthyr Tydfil residents.

Many patients are still reporting significant problems with prescription management, referrals to specialists, and basic access to care. The practice continues to fall short of the standards our community deserves.
