“Of course I don’t want to be one of them. You know who I mean: 2020’s election deniers. Those belligerent, incessant, red-hat-wearing conspiracy wackos who have only now stopped screaming about their “rigged election.” After subjecting America to four long years of eyeroll-triggering drivel, they’ve effectively rendered the topic of election security entirely unpalatable for polite society.
And that’s exactly what they’re counting on. It’s why they pushed the “stolen election” narrative so hard, for so long. It’s brilliant, really. The same message that whipped up unrest on January 6, 2021, now guarantees what I write below will fall upon deaf ears.”
This is the beginning of a must-read article, Nine Ways to Prove the 2024 Election Was Stolen, that provides a compelling explanation for why the presidential election results felt so surprising and simply off. Because they were.
It’s not just the author of this article who thinks the presidential election might have been stolen by Musk and Trump. A group of prominent election security experts has written to Kamala Harris to ask her to request a recount of swing states, citing serious election security breaches that have threatened the security and integrity of the 2024 elections.
And an expert in hacking and counter-hacking named Stephen Spoonamore has written a Duty to Warn letter to Harris, outlining significant statistical anomalies in the election results and how they could be the result of hacking. It’s very convincing, and the only way to prove or disprove this theory is to do a recount. For more details you can read this AMA that Spoonamore did Sunday afternoon on Reddit.
So why isn’t Harris asking for a recount, given this information? She only has a few more days to request one. But Spoonamore reports that the Harris spokespeople he spoke to over the weekend basically told him to drop it. I suspect, as mentioned above, that talking about problems with the security of our elections has become too taboo for Democrats. Which makes this whole plan diabolically clever on Musk and Trump’s part.
So what can we do? I’m asking everyone who reads this to please do anything you can to raise your voices about the need for a recount (and ideally a forensic audit too). Here are some specific ideas. Please do as many of them as you can.
1. Think about who you know who can help spread the word about the need for a recount. Do you know any prominent people, influencers, anyone working on the campaign, anyone who might be able to get through to Kamala Harris or anyone around her? Or anyone in the media, or the FEC or the DOJ or the FBI? We need to contact these kinds of people directly and press for something to be done.
2. Do you know any journalists or podcasters? Try to get them looking into this. Share with them the links above, urge them to talk to the election security experts and Spoonamore.

8. Are you one of the reportedly thousands of people who returned a ballot, or voted in person, but your record is showing as not having voted? Find out by checking your voting record using the tools at vote.org. Report voter fraud/suppression by calling 1-800-253-3931 and/or your state’s hotline (shown in this tweet) and/or file a report online with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division Voting Section. As well as contact your local and national representatives and post about it on social media!

We need to really raise our voices, because I think Musk is doing everything he can to suppress discussion of the need for a recount. Musk darkly threatened that the “Hammer of Justice” will come down on “those who pushed foreign interference hoaxes” (so much for free speech!). And more personally, I was locked out of my X account @NRAboycott for over 24 hours with no explanation, after posting a lot about the need for a recount. The question is, what’s Musk so scared of?
I’m convinced that the shocking cabinet appointments last week were intended to distract us from looking harder at the election results. Unfortunately, this seems to have worked. We need to get people to focus on the myriad anomalies around this election.
I’ll finish here with a quote from wangthunder on Reddit: “There is a very relevant quote that perfectly summarizes the current situation: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Democratic influencers and representatives are absolutely terrified of even whispering the word "recount." Do not fall prey to bystander apathy and assume someone else is gonna handle the situation for you. If you want something to happen then you have to start talking about this!”
The only way something is going to happen is if we make a lot of noise, and we have about 48 hours to do so. Please get out there and do something!
