On Tuesday, July 26th, I had the opportunity to meet with an HR and Legal rep from this essential oil company based in Pleasant Grove, UT. My petition has been reported for sharing "private information" so we'll just call this company, "toDERRA."
My meeting didn't make me feel hopeful that any disciplinary action was going to take place. The company feels that it is not their responsibility to police what their employees do on their "personal time" even if they are on the clock. They feel that this is a personal dispute between their employee and myself and that she does not represent toDERRA. I personally disagree. I believe that how they are approaching this situation is an accurate representation of how they carry their business.
Although I don't think they should employ someone who is so blatantly bigoted online, I will respect whatever they decide to do. It ultimately is up to them. I don't feel that I will get any resolution that I was seeking, but I find comfort in knowing that I tried my best.
