I hope this is allowed but there is another petition that needs your help. You can research James Love or the children he murdered on New Year’s Eve or read the petition but this event from 1975 changed a community for decades. Had the state not changed the laws before his sentencing he would have gotten the death penalty, instead the judge gave him 2 life sentences to be served consecutively (300 years). Unfortunately life without parole was not allowed by the state so every 5 years for the last 40+ years the families of the murdered children must fight to keep him behind bars.
