Folks, now that the shutdown is over we cannot stop spreading the word on this! Keep sharing this petition, keep emailing or calling your elected officials and demand legislative changes with real impact to our elected officials for not meeting the annual budget deadline! Let them know we are NOT pawns and they are elected by us to work for us! We are not here to work for them!

The best way to get them to listen is by being polite! Don’t cuss or threaten but thoughtfully lay out the problem (20 years without an on-time budget!! Would you still have a job?), suggest that it’s time for accountability and consequences for not meeting that deadline! 

Remember - they think we’ve forgotten! Let them know we have not!
