First, we want to say thanks to all of you who’ve donated, shared and signed this petition in solidarity with the indigenous communities of the Bay Area! You’ve helped amplify the call for accountability with emails sent straight to the inboxes of Stephen Beal (CCA president) and Tammy Rae Carland (CCA Provost). 

Your comments on this petition, as well as your perspectives on Instagram and TikTok have helped platform the call for accountability in a way that CCA can’t ignore! 

We’re not done yet, if you’re faculty, staff, students of CCA or in the SF Bay Area, the “ground breaking ceremony” is happening tomorrow at 3pm and open to the public. Join us and grab a “shellmound” poster to show your solidarity in person.
