B&K Universal - In July it will be a whole year since the decision was made by UK Govt. to allow expansion of the Beagle breeding facility in Hull. We were devastated by this news and the only option to have this decision overturned was via Judicial review through the High Court, clearly stated in the decision document. However, B&K are just one breeder in UK supplying to Laboratories and were shipping Beagles in from US in any event. Our aim , therefore, is to end ALL breeding and use of Beagles for experimentation in UK. Beagles are used for more than just Human Medicines and treatments, they are used for basic research, training, agriculture, pesticides, and as bio-reactors.
