Been recently going through a discussion with some friends of mine, and they felt that Barney the Purple Dinosaur should be the mascot of Pride Month. 

Here's a few good reasons as to why he should be the mascot of Pride Month:

1. Barney teaches us about unconditional love, friendship & shows us that we’re ALL different! And that’s what makes us special!

2.He LOVES ALL his friends! No matter who you are! He LOVES us, because we’re different!

3. Barney’s ALL about LOVE! 

Even if the LGBT community likes Barney, doesn't like him or don't mind him, you can't deny it that Barney is the best representation for Pride!!
