Wandale Acquitted by High Court on Two Accounts

Last week the High Court acquitted the leader of the Landless movement in Malawi, Vincent Wandale on two of the three accounts upon which the lower court convicted him last year. But a week earlier, he was arrested again on a new charge that he obtained money on false promises to the landless people. For two weeks now, he has been in police custody being denied bail.
