Wandale Still in Custody, Court to Rule on 3rd November

The leader of the landless movement in Thyolo/Mulanje districts of Malawi is still in custody The court is expected to make a ruling on 3rd November after hearing witnesses and arguments from both sides. Reliable sources that went to Chichiri Prison where Wandale is being kept have disclosed that Wandale is in need of assistance in cash or kind as the conditions in the prison are exceedingly deplorable. For instance, we are told that for him to have dignified place to sleep, he has to cough approximately one US dollar a day which well wishers and relatives are contributing.
