After a final hearing last week, we’re expecting a verdict in Jason’s case at any moment. We’re hopeful that Iran will finally do the right thing and end his unjustified detention. As we await this decision, we were reassured to see that several United Nations human rights experts recently joined the calls for Iran to release Jason. The experts told the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights that my brother’s basic rights had been denied by Iran throughout this process.
