We have learned more about the charges that Jason will face in court. After nine months of detention, Fars (a semi-official Iranian news agency) recently alleged that my brother will face “security” charges, including espionage. My family agrees. We believe that Jason is innocent and that these claims are inaccurate. And so do many others. President Obama, The Washington Post, Muhammad Ali, Noam Chomsky and groups such as Reporters Without Borders, the Committee to Protect Journalists, Amnesty International and nearly 400,000 people like you from 140 countries have called on Iran to release Jason immediately.
