District 11 - Please Restore Democracy by Dumping Stu Rodman
I am aghast that the Beaufort County Political Machine is working to protect County Councilman Stu Rodman.
Over the years, Mr. Rodman has been documented engaging in unseemly backroom operations, including intimidating a County Administrator to support his personal agenda.
He is a MAJOR ENEMY OF TRANSPARENCY!
- He has been condemned by the Island Packet accusing him of ethical violations and "Trying to Run His Own Personal Government".
- Five of his fellow County Council members recently published a letter accusing him of being Unfit for Office.
- Over 8200 people signed a Petition to have an Independent Review of the Corridor project. Rodman has worked hard twice to prevent that.
- He used his County Council powers to attempt to create special taxes for Sea Pines residents.
- He routinely uses private email for government tasks, making it much harder for voters to track his actions.
There is clearly something wrong with Mr. Rodman's actions in office.
However, a small number of party insiders just sent out a mailer endorsing him. I know some of them, and I am ashamed of their actions. This was clearly Party over People.
District 11 - YOU CAN REMOVE STU RODMAN ON JUNE 14 by voting against him in the Primary. Ask for a Republican Primary Ballot and vote for Tom Reitz.
I like Tom, but my appeal is non-partisan. In November, you can still vote for whoever you think is best.
