Thought we would check out the council skate offerings in Crestwood this morning. Here are some photos of the 'quality' skate facilities The Hills Shire Council has to offer. The Snake Run, built in the 80s, has enough cracks and rough concrete to send any kid to the ER and the nearby skatepark is actually even worse! The ramps are so cheaply made and installed in the first place and the old gravel concrete surfaces are cracked, rough and dangerous. One of the 4 quarter pipes is unskateable with a giant crack and uneven surface at the bottom of the ramp. The flat rail was installed on the edge of the slab so is now in the dirt. Cheers to the council for this gem.
