More than 3,650 individuals and 27 organizations have signed on our petition. Thank you all for supporting the campaign to demand Hikvision cut ties with Israel’s apartheid, occupation and genocide.

We have emailed our letter to multiple Hikvision offices on February 7, 2024, and have not received any reply so far.

As a global corporation, Hikvision sells its surveillance cameras everywhere from Asia to Africa to Europe. Please give a little attention to CCTV cameras in the public, and share your clue on Hikvision’s partners with us for the next stage of the campaign. 

A bit more about Hikvision:

Hikvision is one of the world’s largest surveillance technology companies. Yet it is notorious for enabling & perpetuating human rights violations. In China, Hikvision is directly involved in mass surveillance schemes targeting Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples. The CCTV camera networks with facial recognition capabilities are installed in and around internment camps, schools, and mosques in the Uyghur Region. Recently, Hikvision won a deal to build 'Smart Campus' system at a college in China that alerts when Muslim students are suspected of fasting for Ramadan.

Hikvision also exports its technology overseas to assist and "automate" state oppression in other regions. In Myanmar, Hikvision helps military junta to expand its surveillance infrastructure across cities. In Palestine, Hikvision supplies technologies to Israeli authorities and illegal settlers to restrict the freedom of movement of Palestinians, control their daily activities, and crack down gatherings & demonstrations, which further reinforces Israel’s illegal settlement and occupation of the West Bank. Hikvision is listed as a divestment target by the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) Movement National Committee.
