For several years residents and motorists using Kenrick Road, Nottingham, have faced dangerous and unsafe situations because of the actions of a car dealer parking vehicles all around this busy road junction. Pavements on Kenrick Road, Hillview Road and Porchester Road are obstructed, views of oncoming traffic at a busy junction are blocked and turning into the main road from Kenrick is severely restricted. Likewise, turning from Porchester Road into Kenrick Road is hazardous,

Like others, I have sought assistance from Nottinghamshire Police, Nottinghamshire County Council, Gedling Borough Council, the HIghways Agency and our local M.P.

No one is interested, it seems!

The business causing the problem has only planning approval from Gedling Borough Council to operate car valeting operations and NOT car sales operations, which is what they are actually doing.

They operate from a residential private house in Kenrick Road and keep applying for change of use planning permission to sales operations.  So far, Gedling Borough Council has not approved this.

Because of the continuing and increasing hazard caused by this situation I ask residents and other users of this road area to support and sign this petition calling on the bodies mentioned to take URGENT action before a serious accident occurs.
