We did it! The Highline bond to rebuild schools will be on the Nov. 3 ballot!

Thanks to your efforts, the Highline School Board voted unanimously (5-0) to place the community-led bond recommendation on the November 3, 2026 ballot! Thank you for signing and sharing this petition, donating $$, sending emails, delivering public testimony and talking to your neighbors.
But the work isn’t done yet, this measure now goes to voters in the November 2026 election. Here’s how you can help:
1) We need every voter who lives within Highline Public Schools to vote to APPROVE ‘Proposition 1 - Bonds to replace and rebuild deteriorating schools and improve safety.’ The measure will rebuild four schools (Cascade, Chinook, Sylvester, CHOICE Academy) and make critical districtwide safety improvements.
2) Make a donation today to help us reach every voter and ensure they know this important measure is on the ballot, through digital ads and direct mailers. Donate here!
3) Sign up for the mailing list to be contacted this fall about opportunities to reach and speak directly to voters, including doorbelling and personalized texts. Sign up here!
4) Talk to your neighbors. We need at least 60% of voters to vote to APPROVE Proposition 1 – that’s the high bar the state has set for school construction measures. If we don’t reach 60%, the measure fails and our students & families keep waiting for new schools.
This will be the first and final update. The work now transitions to Yes for Highline, a volunteer-led organization that works to pass operating levies and construction bonds for the students and families of Highline Public Schools. Join them and help get this measure across the finish line for our students!
