What makes this case particularly troubling is the extraordinary disparity between Mr. Graham’s sentence and those of his co-defendants. Mr. Graham was one of five individuals charged in the same case. Of those four co-defendants:

Two have already been released, and
One expected to be released in the near future.
One never served prison time.

Mr. Graham is the only individual still serving life sentences without any opportunity for release, despite the fact that the charges were the same.
