NOTE::

High Park covers 399 acres in a busy city,  67% of these acres are designated Naturalized Protected  Areas,  the remaining estimated 25%  are utilized  as Park Land, home to  Sports Fields, Formal Gardens, Nature Centre, Children's Garden, Colborne Lodge , Cafe, Dog Park, Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, Adventure and Accessible Playground and Splash Pad ,  less than 5% are roadways-roadways required for ACCESS to these wonderful much loved and treasured venues in the park. With the closure of the roadways to personal vehicles carrying families, seniors, disabled and physically challenged visitors, ACCESS to these facilities is very restricted .

NOTE: Th entire area designated Park Land is within the property where John Howard created park access for carriages and which he deeded to all citizens....
