The Toronto “High Park Movement Strategy” group will be holding an e-update Zoom meeting on Tuesday, September 10 @ 6:30 pm.   
 
This virtual meeting is an information session about the changes in High Park in the last year.  The City is partnering with the "Toronto Regional Conservation Authority” to discuss a number of issues including park ecology, wildlife & turtle protection in the park, as well as high-speed cycling issues resulting in pedestrians being hit, grazed and frightened by cyclists in the park. High Park is not an appropriate place for a cycle speed track!  With cars banned from the park on weekends, and further plans to ban cars 7 days a week, bicyclists now seem to be emboldened to greatly exceed 20km speed limits and ignore traffic signs around the park.
