PAID PARKING TO BE INSTALLED IN HIGH PARK!

After the “improvements” to High Park roadways and closure of 360 parking lots last August,  the City is now planning to introduce PAID PARKING to High Park and eliminate more parking spaces.

Another cost for financially challenged Seniors, young families and those on disabled pensions- the groups who use the park, often daily. 

150 years ago, John Howard deeded High Park:

“FOR THE FREE USE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF ALL CITIZENS”

After 150 years of access to a wonderful free, safe and cool shaded space, this City Council is closing down access to all but the fit and mobile…

Mayor Chow just said “ Maybe we can do better”, write and tell The mayor_chow@toronto.ca; highparkmove@toronto.ca; and your Councillor what you think about this. NOW!!!!
