Protecting the Right to Protest!!!
Councillors Bravo, Cheng, Fletcher, Malik, Morley and Perks recently signed a Document “Protecting the Right To Protest in our City”…
At a recent meeting, Councillor Perks stated that he “did not care how many signed the Petition” which was against the change of name for Dundas Square. Rather contradictory and certainly a way to encourage the general population to take stronger measures….What do we have to do to make the City Council listen to what the residents want and need in their City? With two years to go before the next election how much frustration and anger will the City Council create before change can be affected?
Everyone should write to the Mayor_Chow@toronto.ca and their Councillor and tell them what they think of the lack of interest and responses to their concerns, Councillors are supposed to serve their residents ……why do they not listen to them?
Write again to highparkmove@toronto; Mayor_chow@toronto; and your Councillor
Thank you for caring....
