Almost May.. and our Park is still closed to cars on weekends and holidays. This is not acceptable ,it eliminates so many who utilize the park, often daily, and who cannot physically walk the distances required when parking or living a distance from the park and having to walk to the park and then  enjoy the parkland and visit venues. It is a "Barrier" to disabled, elderly and very young and favours the active and healthy. Traffic calming in the park is required and could be achieved with enforcement of current by-laws and some type of "surface bumps". Closing the park on specific days does not help with traffic issues and is confusing to the public. Please send your comments to :
