
I can’t believe I’m saying this but it’s fantastic to say that we have now reached over 25,000 signatures!!! From the bottom of my heart, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has signed, shared and continued fight against such a huge issue within the theme park industry and within businesses in general! However, unfortunately the fight is not over and so we need to keep that going and continue the fight for everyone to be treated fairly in the theme park industry. The “trial” that Merlin Entertainments has claimed is their reasoning for this update begins this weekend for their February half term event and will end a week later, we have to keep fighting otherwise they’ll just think we’ve forgotten. So please keep signing, sharing and spreading the word on social media, in person and if you’re off to any Merlin attraction, theme park or not. Please give your feedback about the updates to the RAP system on the survey tablets and in person at the guest services buildings (politely and respectfully to the staff in there though, it’s not their fault). The survey tablets and guest services will formally log your feedback and so this is so so important.
Can we try and get to 30k by the end of half term? We can’t let Merlin think that this issue will blow over, otherwise other businesses will begin to think that they can get away with it too!
