SSHFL has partnered with veterans organizations to establish a statewide Monument Protection Law that would protect all veterans war memorials throughout Florida. We have identified and engaged a lobbyist with over a decade’s experience that is excited to work with us on a greatly reduced rate. Usually a lobbyist will charge $25,000 - $50,000 to champion legislation, but we have negotiated a fee for the legislative program of $7,500. We must have a full-time presence during the legislative session. Last year we did not have this level of support and the protection law failed to pass. We must not let this happen again!
