Save Southern Heritage - FL has been working tirelessly on several fronts and we believe the tide has turned in some battles...but we must "Keep the Skeer on". Recently, in Hollywood (F) the City Commission relaxed, but DID NOT RETREAT, on laws that protect Lee, Forrest and Hood Streets from a wholesale purge...thanks to our combined efforts. In Gainesville, the Commission has been confronted with our scientific poll results that show that an overwhelming majority of Alachua Co. voters oppose moving the Confederate Memorial/Cenotaph from the County Administration building. We believe they now have ample cause to drop the matter. But our coffers have been depleted from these operations and others, and are conducting a fundraiser to provide ammo to continue the battles.
