Hermantown High School Hockey To Be Moved to 7AA

Hermantown High School Hockey To Be Moved to 7AA
The Issue
Hermantown currently competes in the Section 7A hockey, and are making their 8th consecutive trip to the State Hockey Tournament. They compete with and are a formidable opponent to Section 7AA teams, beating (10 out of 12) and tying (1) 7AA teams played during the 2016-2017 hockey season, and have beat every 7A team they went against during the current season as well (14 teams). Hermantown plays AA in youth hockey, but are labeled as an A in high school hockey due to their school enrollment size. It is time for Hermantown to move to 7AA and play against teams that are of their caliber instead of remaining in Section 7A where a trip to state is almost guaranteed for them and no "true" section 7A team seems to stand a chance. The cut off for Hermantown to decide to move up to Section 7AA is on March 6th. Please help get the word out to all and get the petition signed if you too agree with this movement.
