So this update, I fail to say is not a good one.

but in a good not Mom is doing good and is out of the hospital and back to work. Due to Hippa, I can’t post much on Mom but she is a good mom who is not on any drugs nor does she drink. 

She got told the baby had a doctor's appointment and when she showed up for the visit DCF tried to confuse Julie by asking her if she wanted to see her mom, and also asking Julie if she was afraid of her mom at the same time very fast!! Of course, Julie said “yes”! So they tried to claim that the child said she was afraid of her mom and tried to ask her to leave the doctor's appointment, luckily Julie saw her mom and she was so enjoyed by it the nurse let her stay. The worker left when he heard that the child saw mom was there! I don’t get what DCF would get out of lying about a child saying something of such a nature to this extent. I thought the point of DCF was to make the best choices for the child and the best placement for them. Where they're to be safe and happy. Now we’re being told they might place the child with dad who has strangulation charges on him for trying to kill the mother in a heat of rage. Which resulted in him going to jail for 2 years. he is now out on probation and living in a halfway house right now. 

The only good news we got so far was the other worker did finally file to try and place an order to start a family placement for her, but also was told that it might not happen!

 She said just because they file it doesn’t mean that it is going to happen. That was when The mother was told that dad might get the child and not her family member.  

We’re asking for all the help and support we can get from everyone who believes children should stay within the family. This needs and should be done! To make sure this happens please sign this petition bringing these

 these laws are up to date and revisiting the way things are done within the systems needs to be first on the list. 

Bringing Julie home is my first order of business, but to also help other families that are struggling with the problems of this same system. 

 I am not saying that DCF is always in the wrong but, I also have to say that I have seen tons of cases on the news where they make the wrong choices and the child ends up dead! 

Has of right now DCF is trying to make a huge medical decision for my neice Julie. We have now been told she was given meds she didn’t need and that they now think the issue is her ear tubes and they want to remove them before the time. 

I believe that a second decision from a different doctor should take place before any surgery takes place so we know what is best for Julie. 

I am hoping that a new law called "helping Julie come home to family" is put into place to help all children trying to get home to the best-fit parent or family member that they can be placed with. Unless everything else fails then and only then will they be placed into foster care. 

I am not against foster care parents at all. 

I am a mother who is interested in fostering myself or even adopting in the future. 

Please keep Julie in your heart and help her come home to family members she loves and who love her!
