Hey neighbors! I wanted to share an important update, I’ve officially reached out to McFadyen Ventures LLC, the private real estate company that owns the empty lot. They said they still plan to build a house on the property, even after being told that our neighborhood and district councilman are aware of the petition. I haven’t heard back since my last email, so it’s looking like we’ll need to rezone or explore other green space options nearby.

I’m continuing to meet with our watch group and talk with our councilman about next steps, but we really need your help. We’re almost at 300 signatures, but we’ll likely need around 800 to represent the full neighborhood.
