WHY: The Air Traffic Noise Working Group was only approved for 6 months and has ended.
WHAT: The Air Traffic Noise Working Group is presenting our findings and recommendations at a HB City Council Study Session on Tuesday, September 4th to establish an ongoing Jet Noise Commission (JNC) to press for solutions to the jet noise problem with further recommendations to retain experienced legal Counsel and an expert noise consultant.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Email the Huntington Beach City Council Members, City Attorney Michael Gates and City Manager Fred Wilson today and “urge their support for the Jet Noise Commission”. Email every day until this is approved!

We urge your support for the establishment of a permanent Jet Noise Commission and the resources required to continue the fight to stop the jet noise issue over our City that has resulted in a decreased quality of life. This is an important issue for me and my family and I vote.
WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT: If the City Council does not approve the establishment of the Jet Noise Commission and our recommendations, that will END our ability to fight the FAA’s intolerable increase in air traffic noise in Huntington Beach and we will be victims of this increase and further increases in air traffic noise forever.
FOUR of our City Council Members and the City Attorney are running for reelection in November* and depend on your VOTE to be reelected. Let them know how you feel about the issue of Air Traffic Noise in our community.
