Yes, we need more time, but please, Mr President and Leaders – listen to what civil society, stakeholders and children have to say. This Bill is structurally unsound in what it includes and what it leaves out. It cannot be patched. It does not protect children. CAB2019 must be stopped in its tracks. President Ramaphosa, Honourable Speaker, Chair of Chairs,  Chair of NCOP - You have the power to intervene. You can and must withdraw CAB2019. Once retracted, let us put children first. Let us spend time working together with you on policy and legislation. And then we can support the presentation and passage through Parliament of a new CAB2019 that will ensure the future well-being of South Africa and her children
