Initial reports from the NRE

Hi fellow platypus lovers .....thanks for signing and sharing! The NRE here in Tasmania  have been very helpful in providing TPCG with the findings of their investigation into this incident. Unfortunately TPCG will have to agree to disagree with the finding of this report.  We will leave that to the NRE and Meander Valley Council to work out, we're not really interested in assigning blame, just in making change.  We'd just like to say thank you to those involved in reporting this to the NRE and to us, and that we at TPCG are saddened to hear of the  culture surrounding this incident, it sounds very different to those we have been involved in to date.  Big thanks to Todd Walsh for input into this for us and signing the petition. Todd probably knows these Northern waterways better than anyone in Tasmania given his work with Tasmanian Giant Freshwater Lobsters, and we both share grave concerns re habitat protection for our waterways.
