Happy New Year, everyone.
It has been a while since the last update, but I have some very exciting news to share with those who have not yet heard. Recently, Joe Rogan invited his first biblical scholar — Wesley Huff — onto his podcast. Click the link below to familiarize yourselves with Huff’s academic work.

Praise God for answering our prayers and providing a way for a New Testament expert to finally appear on the largest and most influential podcast in the world. The exposure that this episode will have with respect to disseminating the Gospel and presenting a historical defense of Christianity is unprecedented.
Since Huff’s recent discussion with Billy Carson (see the beginning of the Joe Rogan episode for context, if you’re unfamiliar), I have read numerous comments from people saying that Wesley Huff’s work was the catalyst for their conversion to Christianity and others have claimed that he has caused them to revaluate their respective worldviews. One can only imagine how many more lives will be positively affected and transformed by this conversation with Joe Rogan, which I have linked below.

Although my hope was for William Lane Craig to be the first Christian academic to appear on Rogan, Wesley Huff is more than capable of presenting the historicity of the New Testament in an intelligent and nuanced manner, and perhaps his appearance will act as a springboard for Craig and other Christian apologists to be invited onto the podcast in the future.
On that note, William Lane Craig has been invited to participate in a panel discussion hosted by Pepperdine University, which will also include Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, Bishop Barron, Alex O’Connor, Sam Harris, Neil deGrasse, Richard Dawkins, and perhaps more. Originally, this event was to take place in January 2024, but it was held up for various reasons. Fortunately, from what I have been told by one of the organizers, some crucial progress has been made and we should hopefully have an official announcement soon.
I mention this because Joe Rogan might be one of many notable people who will be in the audience (from what I’ve been told) and either by way of listening to Craig speak, and or being personally introduced to him at this event, that might be what causes Craig to be given that much-anticipated invitation to go on Rogan’s podcast. I will keep everyone apprised of any new developments on that front. In the meantime, please watch and share the Wesley Huff episode linked above.
God bless,
Steven Bodrug
